Would you like to volunteer at the youth film festival? Fantastic!
We are always looking for motivated young people aged 16 and over who want to experiment with film and all it entails! In Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent, we can count on a large group of volunteers.

Want to help out?
As a volunteer, you can take on various tasks:
- work at the cash registers
- take children under your wing as a workshop supervisor
- help visitors in the XL-Medialab
- help at events such as the grand opening and the award ceremony
- give introductions in the (toddler)cinema
- welcome guests and jury members
Life path
At the Antwerp Youth Film Festival, we believe it is important that as a volunteer, you are not only able to do what you are good at, but that you can also develop skills that you would like to learn more about. That is why we are here for you!
Imagine: you are a hero at writing texts, but you die of stress when you have to speak in front of a large group. Don't panic! Give your first introductions together with other volunteers, learn from each other... and before you know it, you will be stringing one introduction after another together.
At the youth film festival, there is no hierarchy among the different volunteer groups. Whether you start with us as a children's jury member, volunteer or workshop leader, for example, the possibilities are endless. What do you enjoy doing most?
