Most festival venues have discounted rates starting from €2 for a film or a visit to the XL Medialab.

You can purchase these tickets for the festival in Antwerp & Bruges online. You will receive a ticket without a barcode. On the day itself, you must present your ticket together with valid proof (your A-card in Antwerp or UiTPAS in Bruges) at the box office. This allows us to register your rate and give you a ticket with a barcode in exchange.

You can also reserve these tickets at the box office, or reserve them by email or telephone. Email festival@jeugdfilm.be, stating your A-card number or UiTPAS number and date of birth.

For discounted rates or leisure passes outside Antwerp or Bruges, please contact the location where your activity takes place.

A baby under 1,5 years old will always be admitted free of charge.

For children over 1,5 years, you pay the normal ticket price or the discounted rate if you qualify.

Want to be sure of your spot or are you coming with a group? Then book your tickets online. Tickets are no longer available at the box office for sold-out screenings.

In Antwerp and Bruges, you can profitably combine a film screening with a visit to the XL Medialab. You can watch a film and visit the medialab for €13 instead of €15.

The festival venues are not all managed by the Youth Film Festival Antwerp itself, but rather by our local partners.

Antwerp & Bruges cancellation policy

• Cancellation by organiser

  In case of cancellation by the organiser, you have two options:

  • receive a voucher you can exchange to use during next year's Youth Film Festival. Excl. Kinepolis, hetpaleis & MAS
  • receive a refund for your ticket by emailing festival@jeugdfilm.be Excl. Kinepolis, hetpaleis & MAS

If you cancel your tickets yourself, you are not entitled to a refund or a voucher.

It is possible to receive a fiscal certificate for the workshops. More information about this will be provided after the workshop. Fiscal certificates for the 2026 Youth Film Festival will be sent out in April 2026.

If you have purchased a ticket without activating your promotional code, it is no longer possible to receive a discount on the purchased ticket.

Children may not participate unaccompanied in the 'ouder-kleuter Workshop Kleurenzoekers' and 'ouder-kind Workshop DIY drive-in cinema'.

If you participate in certain activities during the festival, photographs and videos may be taken, which may be distributed as promotional material via our communication channels (printed matter, website, social media, etc.).

If you do not wish to be photographed or have your photo used?

• please ask for a red sticker at the reception desk when you arrive at the festival location and stick it on. This will let the photographers and videographers know that you do not want to be photographed.
• If you do see a photo online, you can send an email to info@jeugdfilm.be to have it taken offline.
